The Founders' Vision versus The Government We Have Today

In this blog post, I will talk about how the American government was intended to be when our Founding Fathers first wrote the Constitution. In order to understand why America is in the situation it is in today regarding our loss of liberties, freedoms, and our debt crisis, you need to understand how the democrats began modifying the Constitution in order to install communism in America.

Here is an incomplete list of how our Constitutionally limited government would look like today if we ran it as our forefathers had intended it.

Would we have:
- NO Income Tax (our Founding Fathers did not intend for people to pay taxes at the Federal level)
- NO Federal Reserve (Congress was designed to handle all issuance of currency)
- NO Social Security or Medicare/Medicaid
- NO Government assistance programs
- NO Obamacare

This post will be updated with more as I do more research.

Before all these program, the Federal Government was very small and did not require much funding to operate.

The Federal Reserve and the Income Tax in 1913 under Woodrow Wilson (D) and the progressive Democratic Congress that controlled both chambers.

All the rest, except Obamacare, came as a result of combating the Great Depression under Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal. The New Deal was the biggest piece of legislature that opened the door to Communism in America.

Finally, as most of you know, Obamacare was signed into law in 2010 by Barack Obama after passing in the 111th Congress with a Democratic Majority in both the Senate and the House. Socialized medicine puts us that much closer to a full blown commie government.
